Privacy Policy

What We Collect

Account info (email, display name, profile photo if provided). Conversation history with ikaika, including text and voice transcriptions. Feature usage data (which modes you use, session length). Feedback you submit (👍👎🧠 votes, NVR reports, downvote notes). Your goals and progress tracking data. IP address and user agent (for security monitoring). Payment information is handled by third-party processors — we do not store card numbers.

How We Use Your Data

To power ikaika's memory and continuity across sessions. To improve the platform through analysis of usage patterns and feedback. To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security threats. To comply with applicable laws. To contact you about your account if necessary. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Automated AI Agents

Nirmata Vision operates 12 AI agents that access platform data as part of normal operations. These agents read system logs, user reports, and performance data to maintain and improve the platform. They do not read your private conversation content for operational purposes — agent monitoring is limited to system-level data. Full agent descriptions are on our Transparency page.

Voice Data

When you use voice input, audio is processed in real time and converted to text. We use third-party transcription services for this. The resulting text is treated as conversation content. Raw audio is not stored permanently. By enabling voice features, you consent to this processing.

Feedback and Reports

When you submit feedback through thumbs up, thumbs down, brain ideas, or NVR reports, that content is stored and reviewed by the Nirmata Vision team — which includes both automated agents and the human founder. Downvote notes and idea submissions are read to improve the platform. This data may be retained indefinitely for product development purposes.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage to remember your preferences, session state, and onboarding status (such as whether you have seen the NVR tip). We do not use third-party tracking cookies. We do not run advertising networks.

Data Retention

Conversation history: retained until you delete it in Settings. Account data: retained until account deletion. Agent system logs: 7 days (live) and 14 days (resolved). Security incident logs: retained indefinitely. Compliance scan records: retained indefinitely. User feedback and NVR reports: retained indefinitely for product improvement. You may request deletion of your data through the Controls page.

Security

We use Supabase (hosted PostgreSQL) for data storage with row-level security. Passwords are hashed. We offer two-factor authentication. Our GD11 security agent monitors for suspicious activity 24/7 and auto-bans malicious IPs. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure. We will notify affected users of any significant data breach.

Third-Party Services

We use: Anthropic (Claude AI — powers ikaika), Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and deployment), GitHub (code storage), and third-party transcription services. Each of these has their own privacy policies. We share only what is necessary for service operation.

California Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what data we collect, request a copy, request deletion, correct inaccurate data, and opt out of sale (we do not sell data). To exercise these rights, go to Controls page or type NVR privacy request in chat.

Illinois Users (BIPA)

If you use voice features and are an Illinois resident, you have rights under the Biometric Information Privacy Act. Voice data processed through transcription may constitute biometric identifiers. By using voice features in Illinois, you consent to this processing. You may opt out by disabling voice features in Controls.

Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Parents who believe their child has created an account should contact us for immediate deletion.

Changes

When we update this policy, the effective date changes. Material changes will be announced through the platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
